What travelers say:
Siddu is a “Himachali dish” that is one of Himachali’s most popular dishes, mainly distributed in Mandi, Kullu, Manali, Rohru and Shimla. It is just a bread made with wheat flour. To make siddu, what is needed is to make a mixture of wheat and yeast. After kneading wheat with yeast, the dough should be heated for at least 4 to 5 hours. Usually, it is served with Desi Ghee "Clarified Butter", Dal (mainly lentil broth) or Green Chutney (made from mint '' Pudina').
